The latest Quadra truck dynamometer to come off Dyno Dynamics' production line has been commissioned at Kenworth's Bayswater facility.
Installed in-ground in a purpose built test room, the Quadra 6 is the first unit specified with a third roller set for use with tri axle trucks.
From the assembly line, each completed truck is driven directly to the dyno room for end-of-line testing. The 10 minute test procedure ensures the integrity of major mechanical components, accuracy of the speedometer & speed limiter systems - and confirms that differential ratios are as specified.
The Quadra is Kenworth's second major purchase from Dyno Dynamics. It follows the acquisition of a brake tester in 2003.
