"It was OK on the dyno, why doesn't it run properly in the car?"
This is a question you won't be asking with a Dyno Dynamics 3000 series engine dynamometer. Rigid mounting an engine on a dyno causes vibrations that won't be experienced in-vehicle. These vibrations can affect fuel delivery so much that the engine can be in a different state of tune when mounted in the car. Dyno Dynamics 3000EA series dynamometers use a flexible mounting system that allows components to experience the same operating conditions they would on the road. The torsional vibration damping and extensive use of rubber mounts also prevents damage to the engine and ancillary components.
