A little late with this news, but a HUGE congratulations to Glenn Allerton for his amazing weekend at Symmons Plains in Tasmania. Glenn took victory in the 16 lap race, gaining 51 points and putting him in the lead for the Australian Superbike Championship.

Glenn said of the weekend "After a weekend like that, all you can do is smile. We came off the World Superbike event with a lot of confidence and a deeper understanding of what the new BMW HP4 was capable of. From the moment we rolled the bike out of the truck here in Tassie for first practice it was absolutely amazing. It was fantastic to clean sweep the first round and I am really looking forward to the next round at Queensland Raceway as it is a strong track for me. I would really like to thank my team as this year has been the best preparation I have had in my career. The team morale is amazing and we are all hoping that there will be many more weekends like Tasmania."

Linden Magee started fourth on the grid, and finished a strong race in 6th position, earning championship points. "Saturday's race was a bit too eventful to be honest- I narrowly avoided going down when Chas Hern (CM Racing) and Josh Hook (THR) crashed out. The red flag for a restart was a welcome sight! Unfortunately I DNF after the restart. For today's race I was 6th and hoped that I could stick with the front guys but I struggled with straight line speed as the new engine was a stock engine. I am really looking forward to the next round at Queensland Raceway as it is my home track and I know I am going to push for a podium" Linden stated about the weekend.

Ben Nicholson has a strong weekend. Ben took seconds off his PB from first practice to qualifying, he managed sixth in race one. Ben is currently leading the Privateer Cup for the Superbike category. "I had an awesome weekend with it being only my second round the BMW s1000rr. I feel more and more confident every time I'm out on the track. It has been a steep learning experience for me; with a new team, a new bike and being entered in Superbikes for the first time, I was really excited to see whether I could mix it up with the Superbike guys. To be running with them the end of the race was awesome and it has given me a lot of confidence coming into the second round for Prostock at Queensland Raceway."

A huge congratulations for all the guys and the amazing Next Gen team from all the staff at Dyno Dynamics for the Symmons Plains weekend!
